Just came back after attending the funeral ceremony of my Bad Cholesterol and Triglyceride levels. What a crescendo!!! ;) Soo happyyy....
Triglyceride level - from 136 to 101
LDL (Bad) cholesterol - from 144 to 100
HDL (Good) cholesterol - from 42 to 62
No wonder, my new lipid test result wears a cool banana smile :)
Some of the common myths that I busted to achieve the results:
. Coconut oil is baaad - Nope Joe, it's goood!!! Perhaps, the only oil that is composed of MCTs, hence easy to digest and is thermogenic (burns fat). Replace your vegetable oils with this natural marvel oil. Your lipid profile won't go nuts after that switch!!!
. Some Sugar is Okayy - Nope Joe, it ain't that sweet to your liver! Sugar induces metabolic syndrome, which is closely linked to high triglyceride levels and LDL cholesterol. Replace that innocent looking table sugar with either a natural sweetener like Stevia or palm jaggery.
. Statins (cholesterol controlling drug) are enough - Nope Joe, not without it's barrage of side effects! Detox your liver by using natural or herbal supplements like Liv 52 and see the maverick kick back into action and reduce both the triglyceride and LDL levels.
