The 14th chapter - THE DIRECTOR WHO REVERSED HIS CIRCUMFERENCE AND THE FAMOUS LINE. HE SAID, "ACTION, CAMERA, LIGHTS!!!"
Usually, the corporate director of a reputed IT MNC comes with a heavy baggage of stress induced syndromes. The daily life is punctuated with an Erractic work Schedule (sense the Oxymoron yet?)
But, beyond all the pathological issues, this man has the phyche of a warrior. A go getter; doesn't rest even when it get's better! The VEDAH transformation program took up the mammoth task
of instilling routine and rythm in a man who holds an esteemed office at a relatively young age. After dropping 8.5 inches off the waist, he's become the cool cucumber for his subordinates and peers.
Fitness round the clock; stress in the dock!
SYNOPSIS -
"I ve been working out at the gym for nearly 3 years, but unable to shed inches at the belly. I ve read most of the tech. goop on fitness, but still no go!
Biju, I would like you to take charge and punch me hard in the belly ;)"

SCIENCE OF SIGNS -
A case of the dual dosha Pitta-Vata in Ayurveda; the Pitta constituent aggravated inflammation inside the GI (gastrointestinal) tract (Nidana in Sanskrit), which lead to excess toxins (Ama in Sanskrit) inside his visceral organs
leading to a fatty liver and inflammatory markers (SGPT and SGOT) in the liver enzymes.
The enraged Pitta (fire) influenced the body to accelerate Kapha dosha (water) as a preventive measure, which in turn lead to more fluid retention in the gut (beer belly).
LIMITATIONS -
High work related stress, inflamed liver and intestines, decreased lung capacity due to heavy smoking.
METHOD -
. Alleviate GI tract inflammation by reducing the Pitta dosha and subsequent bowel cleansing to improve food absorption and assimilation.
. Alleviate the Kapha dosha to overcome issues with fluid retention and waist size.
. Activate the body to drain accumulated lymph into the lymph nodes by using specialized self massage techniques.
. Introduce basic lifestyle modifications and hacks.
APPARATUS -
. Use herbs like Triphala for regular bowel cleansing to eliminate toxins from the GI tract. The body up-regulates fat accumulation in the subcutaneous and visceral regions to store toxins and hence, ensure that they don't leech out into the blood stream.
. Use Organic Ghee along with Ashwagandha (Withania Somnifera), Neem (Azadirachta indica), and some other herbs to reduce Stress, improve Liver metabolism, activate the Lymphatic drain, and purify the vitiated blood.
. Specialized Yoga asanas to improve metabolism, reduce Cortisol (stress) levels, and improve the aerobic capacity.
. Improve the resting metabolic rate (RMR). A Pitta reducing diet played that part well.
. Up-regulate bio-synthesis of co-enzyme Q10 with Vit. B supplementation in the body to increase the RMR.
